About

Dana Arnim

I received my BFA from the University of Washington, as well as a Certificate in Art for the Children’s Market from UW Extension. After joining the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), I was fortunate to have some of my work published: illustrations for Bartholowmew Quill, A Crow’s Quest to Know Who’s Who, by Thor Hansen; The Terrible Tenor, by Bev Parnell; and in Drawn to Color, A Pacific Northwest Coloring Book, edited by Ben Clanton.

More recently, I have fallen in love again with printmaking, and have been creating new work in linoleum block prints and monotype.

I live on a beautiful island in the Puget Sound with my husband Bill, in a house we designed and built together, along with our daughter, two cats, and Buster, the best dog ever.
